Real Name: Derec Carver

Background: Diehard and his brother Slayer were graduates of a secret supersoldier program in an unknown country. The brothers eventually chose to make their living as mercenaries. Diehard first came to prominence working for Lazarus X as he sought to defeat CounterForce. Since then he has often come into conflict with superheroes and become a frequent foe of Rebel.

Status: Currently serving a sentence in Vulture Island Correctional Facilty.

Powers: Diehard's body has amazing recuperative powers, allowing him to quickly recover from almost any injury.

Skills: Diehard is a highly skilled combatant, as well as an expert acrobat.

Technology: Diehard's favorite weapon is an aluminum quarterstaff, but he also employs a variety of other weapons.
