Crucible:Corsairs

Formally known as the National Emergency Strike Team, or NEST, the Corsairs are the official US government super-team. The team was formed in the Modern Age and is led by former supervillain Enforcer (Miles Carson) who received a full presidential pardon before joining the team. Members of the team are federal agents and have all the enforcement powers granted members of the FBI.

The membership of the Corsairs comprises:

• Enforcer (Miles Carson): flies an advanced powered armor.
• Sigil (Shaundra Moss): a student of the occult.
• Banzai (Martin Swoop): a skilled martial artist.
• Quasar II (Lane Karnstein): a parahuman with control over plasmoid energy.
• Ember (Sarah Augustyn): a powerful psychic tracker.
• Gizmo (Elmo Calhoun): the team's resident technologist.

The Corsairs are based in Washington, DC, at a federal facility called the Blockhouse.
