He was forced to seek refuge while he tried to carry out his researches, but his enemies continually sought him out to destroy him. To defend himself, and achieve his ends, he improved his own genetic code and built a clone army, including superhumanly powerful replicants like Kodiak and Blood.
His ruthless thirst for knowledge often brought him into conflict with superheroes of the Silver Age and later.
Late in life, he contracted fatal cancer as a result of genetic tinkering with his own body, and left his scientific discoveries behind for the superhero Changeling , the one scientist he felt could understand his methods.
Magius never managed to resurrect his beloved wife.
Status: Deceased.
Powers: Injured in an attack on his secret lab, he built himself a genetically modified body. Clone Master's genetically modified body was superhumanly strong and tough.
Skills: Magius was a brilliant biologist who was the first to discover the true structure of the DNA molecule.
