Crucible:Rage

Real Name: Billy Jim Bougainvillea

Background: Billy Jim Bougainvillea grew up in Pacific City, California. A shy and sickly child, he had much in common with his best friend, Harry Piffle. At puberty, he became prone to uncontrolled fits of rage. Billy Jim didn't know it, but he was really a parahuman, one of a new human species. His superhuman strength emerged, his personality changed, and he became a brutal bully and, of course, a football player. Later, he was recruited by the teenage villain Computron for his team of villains, Rock n' Roll. He took the name Razorback.

Later when he became a supervillain, he changed his identity to Rage. Billy Jim is in and out of both penal and mental institutions these days, but his old friends from high school, such as Arsenal and The Answer, still recruit him for side jobs.

Status: Active

Powers: Rage is strong, tough and nearly invulnerable to physical injury. He is capable of generating a psychic fury that can overwhelm the unprepared with sheer ferocity.
