Crucible:Bobo the Clown
Real Name: Barney Blaze
Background: Who can say what drove Bobo the Clown over the edge? Maybe it was too many years of clowning in cheap one-ring circuses. Maybe it was the way bratty 7-year olds would ridicule him at birthday parties and pop his balloon animals. Maybe he soaked up too much greasepaint through his skin. Maybe it was all the booze or all the broads. Maybe it was all the radiation in that nuclear blast, or the chemicals he was doused with in that horrific accident. Or maybe his heart was just too big for this sad, sad world!
Whatever happened, once he got superhuman powers, the guy went bugnuts. He rampaged across New York, mirthfully murdering and making merry until he was killed. What an asshole!
Status: Although he was killed by Kodiak, now Bobo is undead, because you can't keep a good clown down! Bobo is currently serving a post-life sentence at Black Iron Correctional Facility.
Known Relatives: After Barney's first death, Barney's brother Danny Blaze sought vengeance against Kodiak as Striker.
Powers: Bobo has unearthly superhuman speed, strength, and agility.
Technology: Bobo used a full clown's arsenal of juggling pins, drooping flowers, chains of handkerchiefs, itty-bitty bicycles, and other implements of amusement.
Skills: Bobo's greatest skill was making the children laugh! That and killing people.
