Real Name: Andres de Vries

Background: An assassin of fearsome skill and reputation, the Silencer made a name for himself as a hitman for Mediterranean drug cartels. He has worked across Europe, the Americas and the Pacific Rim, and often come into conflict with superheroes. Early in his career, he was sent on a mission to assassinate the prime minister of Isola, but was stopped by Rebel. He has emerged several times since then to battle the American hero.

In civilian guise, de Vries enjoys spending his large paychecks with the upper crust of society, in the most exclusive locations.

Skills: The Silencer is a master of stealth and evasion, a crack shot and expert martial artist.

Technology: The Silencer wears a special stealth suit that provides personal protection and invisibility from many sensors. In addition, it enables him to use a form of sonar to track multiple targets.
