Real Name: Key Savage

Background: In the possible 23nd Century of the Biogenic Wars, Earth is a battleground between the last remnants of humanity and the parahuman "mutants". An all-out war of survival has raged for decades. A hero of the genetically original humans (the so-called "pure strain"), Captain Key Savage volunteered for a one-way journey back in time to alter history, by stopping the parahumans before they had a chance to spread. He landed in the early 21st Century in New York City and led a one-man crusade of destruction against parahumans, which often brought him into conflict with superheroes.

Status: During a battle with the crimefighter Shadow, Savage set off an explosion in which he appeared to have been killed, but his body has not been recovered.

Skills: Savage is an expert commando, skilled in weapons use, unarmed combat, demolitions, stealth and infiltration. He is superbly trained and fanatically motivated.

Technology: Savage brought back many weapons and devices from his future era and made good use of them. Because of pollution, the sunlight in his era is much dimmer than ours, and he is forced to wear special goggles to compensate.
