Crucible:Shadowlord

Background: The psionic race known as Shadowlords were rulers of the galaxy long ago. They were immortal, without equals in power and strength, masters of the dark spaces between the stars. Over time, the Shadowlords warred with each other, absorbing each other's essence like living black holes, until at last only one was left. He has been the last survivor of his kind for so long that he is simply now known as the Shadowlord. He is the congealed esssence of all the former Shadowlords, an entire immortal species in one being.

The Shadowlord is a malevolent ruler who demands submission from other sentients. There are planets where he is worshipped as a deity. He has emerged time and again to menace peace throughout the galaxy. The Citadel has long stood in his way of galactic domination.

Several years ago, Power Man and the Citadel imprisoned the Shadowlord inside the supermassive black hole at the galactic core, but he has recently escaped his prison somehow.

Status: Active

Powers: The true extent of his powers has not been well-understood, but the Shadowlord appears to command a vast array of darkness, energy projection, and psionic powers. These powers may be magical in origin.
