Real Name: Kasimir Zolner

Background: Yatakangi soldier Kasimir Zolner was a well-known hero of his country's Patriotic War, fought in recent decades against Western forces led by the United States. (American veterans of the war, which is called the Yatakang War in the US, include Manhunter and Oz Traynor.) He was decorated many times for valor but always battled his inner demons.

His transition to civilian life did not go well, and Kas struggled with domestic violence and substance abuse. Finally, the troubled soul was taken in by relatives in the United States, the country he had fought so well and so hard against. Against his family's efforts, his downward spiral continued. He couldn't hold a job and he fell off his medications. He wound up living as a homeless man in the Bronx, dreaming of past glories and friendships, with only occasional lucid moments of his time as defender of his country.

Until one night, he happened across the dying supervillain Solarion...  

Status: Active

Skills: Zolner was a leader of the Black Wolves, his country's elite combat unit. He is an expert in firearms, unarmed combat, vehicle operations, wilderness survival, and has a wide range of technical skills.

Technology: Kasimir took possession of a battlesuit and other advanced technology from the deceased supervillain Solarion, including a range of weapons and a hidden base.
