Real Name: Vasily Sterankov

Background: Russian bureaucrat Vasily Sterankov, a meek and unassuming man, was accused of crimes by the commissars of the USSR. To avert a life sentence in the gulag, he volunteered for radiation experiments that had killed all test subjects. Vasily died too, but he miraculously revived on the examination table with the powers of a living ghost. He also was unable to feel emotions of any kind.

He became the greatest spy and secret agent for the Communist menace and battled many Western superheroes during the Cold War, including the Crusaders, Dr. Saturn, and the Unity League.

Status: Unknown

Powers: The Red Ghost could become insubstantial and pass through solid objects.

Skills: The Red Ghost was a highly trained agent and operative.
