Real Name: Irving "Yeggs" McEggs

Background: During the Silver Age and into the Bronze Age, the supreme crime boss of New York was Yeggs McEggs. McEggs rose from mob soldier under Jackie Drago to leader of one of largest criminal empires in North America, specializing in rackets and drugs. McEggs was wealthy and influential and hobnobbed with the famous and powerful. There was little that happened in his city that he was not aware of.

He was killed at the beginning of the Bronze Age by one of his lieutenants, Peter Pietro, who consolidated control over the mobs and succeeded McEggs as the paramount crime boss of New York.
