Crucible:Flint

Real Name: Frederick Rubble

Background: Fred Rubble's parents lived in a remote stretch of the American West downwind from an atomic testing range. Baby Fred was born with a variety of mutations: he was unusually big and strong, even for a baby, and he grew to enormous size rapidly, almost eating his family out of house and home. He was extremely resistant to injury and had incredible stamina. When he was 13 he fled the farm to Unity City and fell in with criminals, taking the name Flint. With his unusual strength, it wasn't long before he came to the attention of the city's supervillains as well as the Unity League. The villain Mesmerio recruited him for a super-team he had formed called the Marauders.

Powers: Flint is one of the most powerful individuals in Unity City, with immense strength and durability.
