Background: CounterStrike was the guardian of Republic City, in the NorthAm Confederation, in the alternate dimension of Terra Ultima. She was a founding member of the Alpha Legion. When Terra Ultima was destroyed, she and the rest of Alpha Legion were flung into our world, which resulted in a battle called the Alpha Invasion.

During her time on this Earth, CounterStrike was romantically involved with Cobra.

CounterStrike's father was the supervillain Doctor Dominion.
