Real Name: John Norman

Background: A genius in multiple fields, scientist John Norman "supercharged" his already immense intellect with an experimental mind-enhancer of his own design, and the result made him a powerful psychic. Taking the name Mentor, he swore to use his new powers for good. He soon formed a super-team of like-minded friends and they became the Crusaders, one of the most important superhero groups of the Silver Age.

Status: Deceased.

Powers: Mentor possessed powerful psionic powers. He could read minds at planetary distances, form illusions in other minds, and even control minds if he so willed.

Skills: Mentor was a genius with technology, holding many patents even before he became Mentor.
