Background: Accidentally exposed to deadly epsilon radiation, meek and mild Sister Mary McMuffin developed superhuman strength and durability and a bad attitude to match. She decided to leave her convent near Manunka Chunk, NJ, and use her powers for good. The Atomic Nun became the scourge of evil-doers all across northern New Jersey!
