Crucible:Plunderers
Furious at their individual defeats at the hands of superheroes, four of the Victory Squadron's most powerful enemies: the Wizard, Black Paladin, Piledriver and Professor Proteus banded together to form the first true supervillain team: the Plunderers. And with the Victory Squadron fighting overseas, their first target were the rich bank vaults of New York City. Plunder was theirs for the taking! Although they were stopped by the Prowler and Quarrel, the Plunderers have united several more times in the succeeding years.
