Crucible:Rose McGee
Real Name: Roisin "Rose" McGee
Background: Irish immigrant Roisin McGee ("Rose" to her friends) left County Cork as a teenager to seek a better life in America. She settled in Unity City, where she opened a small cafe serving hearty Irish fare called Rose's. She wasn't in business but a month when the Fearsome Five went on a rampage and destroyed parts of the downtown where her humble cafe was located. Roisin wasn't the kind to take this without a fight and her Irish temper flared. Frying pan in hand, she tried to stand up to them, but they were just too powerful. The Unity League arrived in the nick of time to save her life, the lives of her employees and customers, and her cafe.
In gratitude, Roisin decided that the Unity League would always eat free at her place, and soon offered the same deal to any other superheroes who stopped in. (They were all excellent tippers anyway.) Business boomed and the menu expanded as Rose's was known to be friendly to 'capes', as they were called. Now Rose is one of Unity City's biggest boosters of the Unity League and her cafe is a landmark in Unity City.
Skills: Rose is a darned fine cook and one tough lady.
