The Grace Companies are a multi-national conglomerate of privately held enterprises, all owned by the Grace family. The Graces have been in America since long before there was an America and the Grace Companies began in the earliest days of the North American colonies. They are the oldest of old money families, with a pedigree stretching back to the Mayflower. The companies started out with many of the most basic needs of the colonists - building materials, textiles, and consumables such as salt, sugar, and rum - and grew from there.
