Crucible:SKULL
SKULL was a Silver Age conspiracy of worldwide reach. Its intent was the overthrow of the existing world order and its replacement by a superior ruling elite. Each SKULL agent was considered to be the apex of human training and optimized for combat; highly resistant to injury and equipped with the latest weaponry. SKULL agents wore fearsome skull-like masks to strike fear into their foes.
During the Silver Age, SKULL was led by a mysterious figure called the Spectre.
SKULL's activities continued into the modern age, but the organization was eventually demolished by the efforts of the renegade superheroes known as the Outsiders.
