== Origins ==

Snarl originated in one of the alternate dimensions dominated by the sprawling interdimensional civilization known as the [[Crucible:The Hundred Worlds|Hundred Worlds]]. In his native reality, he fought as part of a resistance movement opposing imperial control and dimensional occupation.

Little is known about his original people, though surviving accounts suggest they were highly adapted hunters and trackers possessing heightened physical capabilities and strong clan traditions. Snarl himself was reportedly related to [[Crucible:Wildcat|Wildcat]], sharing many of the same feral physical traits and predatory instincts.

Unlike later depictions of him as a monstrous servant of darkness, those who knew Snarl before his corruption described him as fierce, proud, and deeply loyal to his comrades.

He fought for freedom.

That was what made his fall so terrible.
