== Origin ==

Renfield Watts was raised in a secluded World Health Organization–affiliated research retreat located in [[Crucible:Bugunda|Equatorial Bugunda]]. Within that isolated environment, he was subjected to a combination of advanced educational conditioning and experimental evolutionary processes intended to accelerate both mental and physical development.

The result was a being of unusual capability. Watts displayed exceptional intelligence across multiple disciplines while also exhibiting heightened strength, agility, and resilience beyond normal human limits.

The experiment might have remained hidden indefinitely.

It did not.

== The HAVOC Attack ==

The clandestine organization [[Crucible:HAVOC|HAVOC]] learned of the Bugundan compound and launched a coordinated assault. Their objective was clear: seize the research, eliminate resistance, and exploit whatever they could recover.

Watts’s caretakers acted quickly. To ensure his survival, they sent him into the surrounding jungle with instructions to hide.
