== Background ==

Harrison Simms served with distinction in the brutal conflict in [[Crucible:Yatakang|Yatakang]], where he earned a reputation for courage under fire and calm leadership in impossible situations. During the war, however, Simms suffered catastrophic injuries that left him paraplegic.

For a time, he believed his fighting days were over.

That changed when industrialist and technologist [[Crucible:Maccabee O'Keefe|Maccabee O’Keefe]] approached him with an offer. O’Keefe, himself confined to a wheelchair by a degenerative spinal condition, believed advanced technology could restore not merely mobility, but purpose.

Simms became the first field operative for O’Keefe’s new organization, [[Crucible:CounterForce|CounterForce]].

== The Militech Armor ==
