Real Name: Jean Weatheral

Background: Washed-out Australian astronaut Jean Weatheral stole an experimental flight suit designed for exploration of the sun. Fitting it with advanced weaponry, she adopted the identity of Firebird, costumed mercenary for hire. Although she has been captured several times, Weatheral has always escaped and managed to steal or rebuild the suit. She has been a dangerous opponent of the Gauntlet for some time.

Status: Active

Skills: Weatheral is a skilled flyer and has an expert understanding of technology.

Technology: The Firebird suit is capable of withstanding temperatures and pressures far beyond any found on earth. Gravitational motors allow it to fly at supersonic speeds. The suit also contains an array of advanced weaponry. Weatheral has made modifications to the suit's control system so that it will respond only to her brainwaves.
