Real Name: Gorshin McLown

Background: Failed father, failed businessman, failed musician...the only thing timid Gorshin McLown was ever good at was making people laugh...mostly at him, and his big hopes and aspirations. He felt himself to be a weak, ineffectual man with nothing to look forward to in life but misery. Forced by thugs from the Drago crime family to commit a crime, McLown wore white-face clown makeup to disguise his identity. He found that his new appearance let him show a whole new, evil, side of his personality, and that evil side soon took over the timid side. Gorshin's new personality took pleasure in elaborate traps and destruction, and outsmarting superheroes. He adopted the persona of the Harlequin, a deadly criminal clown, and wore the makeup full-time. And soon, the ones who laughed at him stopped laughing. Later, he formed the Marauders team with Mesmerio.

Skills: The Harlequin is a capable weapons engineer and designer of amusing implements of destruction, such as exploding juggling balls, spring-loaded boots for jumping, and a rubber suit for absorbing damage in battle
