Real Name: Wenden Polle

Background: Tempest was born on Terra Ultima , a parallel Earth worldline. He was granted cosmic powers by a godlike being and became the most powerful superhero of his world. He and his team, the Alpha Legion, used their powers to enforce a regime of world peace. When Terra Ultima was destroyed, the Alpha Legion was flung into this dimension, where they came into conflict with Earth's superheroes in a battle for world domination called the Alpha Invasion.

After their defeat, the Alpha Legion left Earth in a quest to restore their own planet.
