Real Name: Barton Brittan

Background: Police officer Barton Brittan's family was wiped out by mobsters working for the Talon. Swearing revenge, he worked outside the law, battling crime as the Hangman. As a ruthless vigilante, he came into conflict many times with superheroes, including the Midnight Men.

Status: Unknown

Skills: Brittan was a trained police officer, with skills in weapons, hand to hand combat, and detection.

Technology: The Hangman used a special electric noose to execute his foes.
