Real Name: Jamie McDougal

Background: Young Scottish student Jamie McDougal was being chased by bullies across Edinburgh. In desperation he ducked into a blind alleyway and, with almost nothing to hide behind or way out, the bullies somehow passed him right by. Jamie was amazed. He was invisible to them. somehow, as if he had blended in to the surroundings. Not long after, his beloved Alsatian dog Scooter fell into a loch, and Jamie leaped in without hesitation to save him. But what saved Scooter was a dolphin, not exactly native to a Scottish loch. The dolphin was Jamie, transformed. Jamie realized he could change his shape at will and assume other forms!

He was eventually approached by Dr. Julian Li, headmaster of the Pacific Academy, who offered the young man a full scholarship and a chance to learn to control his powers. Jamie jumped at the chance to go to America, which he had always loved, and accepted the offer.

Group Affiliation: The Avant Guard

Powers: Doppleganger can change shape to assume the likeness of nearly anything he can imagine, animate or inanimate, solid, liquid or even gas.

Skills: Doppleganger is a science geek. With his ability to blend, he is an excellent spy.

Technology: Doppleganger wears a tactical suit made of unstable molecules that helps him direct his powers and assumes whatever form he has.
