Background
Captain Caya Beatriz Hellyer-Sutherland is a former United States Air Force officer and one of the most respected transport pilots employed by PHASE II. Assigned to the organization’s transport wing, she frequently flew covert insertion and extraction missions into hostile or politically unstable regions around the world.
It was during these operations that she first met Jeb Sutherland, better known to the world as Rebel. Caya often served as the pilot responsible for delivering him into dangerous parachute missions over remote territory. Their personalities immediately clashed. Caya was fiery, stubborn, and uncompromising, while Jeb could be reckless, sarcastic, and endlessly irritating.
Naturally, they fell in love.
Their relationship became famous among the superhero community for its intensity, marked by dramatic arguments, dangerous adventures, sudden reconciliations, and an undeniable affection neither could escape. After years of romantic chaos and mutual exasperation, the two were eventually married in a ceremony attended by many of the world's leading superheroes, as well as senior leadership from PHASE II.
Although their duties frequently keep them apart, both remain deeply devoted to one another and eagerly await the next opportunity to reunite.
