Background

His life changed dramatically when he uncovered a hidden truth about his family: his late grandfather, Loren St. Cloud, had secretly been the Silver Age hero known as the Scarab.
Exploring his grandfather’s long-abandoned Unity City base, Michael discovered a trove of advanced technology decades ahead of its time, including the revolutionary neural interface systems that had enabled the original Scarab to overcome his blindness.
