Algol-7 is the last known survivor of the Tarqian mind wizards, a powerful telepath and telekinetic from the remote world of Tarqa. Freed from slavery by Space Ace, he became a devoted ally and a core member of The Star Squadron, dedicating his life to the liberation of others across the galaxy.

Origin

Algol-7 was born on the distant planet Tarqa, a world once home to a race of beings known as the Tarqian mind wizards. These individuals possessed extraordinary psychic abilities, cultivated through rigorous mental discipline and cultural tradition.

At some point in Tarqa’s history, the Tarqians were scattered or destroyed, leaving Algol-7 as the last of his kind. He was eventually captured by interstellar slavers and transported to a distant world, where his abilities were exploited and suppressed.

His fate changed with the arrival of Space Ace and the crew of the Sweet Petunia. Recognizing both Algol-7’s suffering and his potential, Space Ace led a revolt that overthrew the slavers and freed their captives.

Grateful for his freedom, Algol-7 chose not to return to isolation. Instead, he joined Space Ace, committing himself to a broader mission: the liberation of the oppressed and the defense of peace across the stars.
