Tech is the professional alias of Simon Matthews, one of the most influential scientific minds in modern history and the technological architect behind much of the infrastructure that defines the contemporary superhero age. Though once an active field member of Watchstar, Matthews has long since moved into a strategic and developmental role, shaping events from behind the scenes with inventions that have altered the course of civilization.

Background

Simon Matthews demonstrated extraordinary intelligence from an early age, rapidly advancing beyond conventional education and into independent research. While still a teenager, he developed a practical model for fusion power generation and created a wireless communication protocol that would eventually become the backbone of global digital connectivity, famously named after his childhood toy bear: Bluetooth.

These achievements did more than establish his reputation; they changed the world and made Matthews one of the most important young scientific figures of his generation.

He did not rise alone. Simon’s younger sister, Amanda Matthews, better known as Booster, emerged a few years later as one of the most dynamic young heroes of the early Watchstar era.
