Snapjaw is the monstrous mercenary identity of Oscar “Crusher” Barylski, a former gang enforcer rebuilt through illegal cybernetic surgery after a near-fatal ambush left him mutilated and dying. Enhanced with reinforced musculature and a terrifying cybernetic jaw equipped with steel-alloy fangs, Snapjaw became one of the criminal underworld’s most physically intimidating hired killers.
Where many cyborg villains rely on sleek weapons systems or sophisticated armor, Snapjaw prefers something simpler: getting close enough to bite.
Early Life
Oscar Barylski grew up amid gang violence, street fighting, and organized crime, earning the nickname “Crusher” long before becoming a supervillain. Thick-bodied, aggressive, and naturally brutal even by underworld standards, Barylski built a reputation as an enforcer willing to solve problems through overwhelming violence.
He lacked subtlety.
He never particularly wanted it.
Crusher’s career revolved around intimidation, collections, beatdowns, and gang warfare until a violent betrayal changed everything.
The Ambush
During a gang conflict, Barylski was ambushed and left for dead after suffering catastrophic injuries, particularly to his face and jaw. Most assumed he would either die outright or spend the remainder of his life crippled.
Instead, he was discovered by a rogue cybernetics engineer fascinated by extreme human augmentation and criminal reconstruction technologies.
The engineer rebuilt Oscar experimentally.

Becoming Snapjaw
Barylski emerged from surgery transformed into something halfway between man and industrial predator. His shattered jaw had been replaced with a reinforced cybernetic mechanism lined with massive steel-alloy fangs capable of crushing bone, metal, and reinforced materials.
