Background
Aelira Kaelith was born on Velthea, a crystalline world associated with the origins of the Starflyers, a rare order of beings capable of traversing the vacuum of space unaided. On Velthea, these abilities are believed to be granted by the so-called Celestial Stream, an enigmatic force that selects and empowers those destined to join the order.
As part of her initiation, Aelira received the implanted green gem that enables and stabilizes her powers, linking her to the same energy source shared by other Starflyers.
