The supervillain team known as Black Sunday first came together while imprisoned in PHASE II confinement facilities. Individually dangerous but frequently defeated, the four villains realized that their combined abilities would make them a far greater threat than any of them could become alone.
The alliance proved remarkably successful. Unlike many villain teams formed through convenience or intimidation, Black Sunday developed a fierce internal loyalty. The members consider themselves a kind of family, bound together by shared experience, criminal ambition, and mutual dependence.
Over the years, Black Sunday has travelled across the globe, into deep space, and even through time itself in pursuit of wealth, power, and advanced technology. Their operations tend to focus on sophisticated robberies involving experimental technology, alien artifacts, or highly protected scientific installations.
The team’s willingness to employ extreme violence when cornered has made them one of the more dangerous recurring villain groups of the Modern Age.

Reputation
[edit]Black Sunday has earned a reputation as one of the most persistent organized supervillain groups operating in the Modern Age. Their crimes often involve advanced technology, experimental weaponry, or highly classified scientific research.
Unlike many criminal teams, Black Sunday has survived repeated defeats without significant fragmentation, due largely to the unusually strong personal bonds between its members.
