Celestial is the monastic warrior identity of Azis Arruzis, one of the oldest and most respected members of the Citadel. A being of profound discipline and insight, he has spent centuries walking the path of honor, serving as both protector and mentor among the stars.
To younger heroes, he is a teacher.
To his enemies, he is inevitability.
Origin
[edit]Azis Arruzis was born on a remote world belonging to a peaceful and highly advanced species, located within a globular cluster orbiting the Milky Way. His people valued balance, discipline, and inner harmony above all else.
From an early age, Azis distinguished himself—not through aggression, but through mastery.
He trained in the ancient martial traditions of his people, eventually becoming one of their greatest champions. His path, however, did not end on his homeworld.
He chose to leave it.
The Citadel
[edit]Azis joined the Citadel, a vast interstellar alliance dedicated to maintaining peace across countless worlds. There, he took on the mantle of Celestial and began a long career spanning centuries.
Within the Citadel, he became known not only for his combat ability, but for his wisdom and restraint. He is widely regarded as a mentor figure, guiding newer members through both battle and philosophy.
He does not command.
He teaches.
The Loss Of A World
[edit]Not long after Celestial departed his homeworld, disaster struck.
A nearby star entered its death throes, threatening to go supernova and annihilate his species. The Citadel intervened, orchestrating a massive evacuation and relocating his people to a new, habitable world.
They survived.
But their home did not.
Celestial carries that loss quietly, as he carries all things—without complaint, without regret, but never without memory.
