Centurion is the time-displaced tyrant identity of Magnus Draevor, a ruler from a distant possible future who once united humanity under absolute control. Stripped of his empire and cast into the past, he now seeks to reshape history—and reclaim the power he lost.
Origin
[edit]Magnus Draevor was born in a possible 50th century, a time when Earth had been shattered by global war and the collapse of nation-states. Civilization existed only in fragments, scattered across a devastated world.
From this chaos, Draevor emerged.
Gifted with intelligence, charisma, and a mastery of advanced technology, he unified disparate human populations under a single banner. Taking the title Centurion, he presented himself as a savior—a leader who would restore order, rebuild society, and secure humanity’s future.
For a time, it worked.
The Centurion Regime
[edit]Draevor’s rule quickly transformed from reform to control.
Using advanced AI systems, cybernetic augmentation, and a network of surveillance drones, he established total oversight of his population. Neural implants allowed him to monitor, influence, and in some cases directly control individuals.
Society was reorganized into a rigid caste system based on genetic engineering and perceived utility. Dissent was not tolerated.
Order was absolute.
Freedom was irrelevant.
To Draevor, this was not tyranny.
It was efficiency.
Collapse
[edit]Despite his control, resistance grew. Underground movements, inspired by fragments of pre-war democratic ideals, began to challenge his authority. Assassination attempts, internal betrayals, and coordinated uprisings destabilized his regime.
For the first time, Draevor faced the possibility of defeat.
Rather than fall with his empire, he chose another path.
Flight Through Time
[edit]Draevor activated an experimental time machine—one of the last relics of pre-war scientific advancement. Calculating a one-way trajectory, he fled his collapsing future and arrived in the Silver Age, shortly after the detonation of the first atomic bomb.
In this era, he is unknown.
His empire does not exist.
His name carries no weight.
But the conditions he once exploited—fear, instability, and technological growth—are all present.
And this time, he has experience.
Powers
