Dark Angel is the vigilante identity of Skye MacAllister, widely regarded as the premier superhero of the Chicago and Great Lakes region. A tactician, engineer, and relentless opponent of corruption, she built her reputation not by fighting petty crime, but by confronting power directly—often in places where other heroes would not go.
Origin
[edit]Skye MacAllister was the daughter of a Chicago newspaper publisher who made his name exposing corruption in city government and organized crime. That work came at a cost. When he refused to back down, mob figures had him killed in an effort to silence him.
The result was the opposite.
Skye, then a young engineering student, took her father’s death as a turning point. Drawing on the training he had given her—her father had been a former commando—as well as her own technical abilities, she began preparing for a sustained campaign against the forces responsible.
She did not wait for justice.
She set out to impose it.
Rise Of Dark Angel
[edit]Adopting the identity of Dark Angel, Skye launched a methodical war on organized crime and political corruption in Chicago. Her approach combined intelligence gathering, targeted strikes, and a willingness to operate in gray areas that made both criminals and officials uneasy.
Over time, she became more than a lone vigilante. Her actions exposed networks that extended into City Hall itself, establishing her as a figure who was not simply reacting to crime, but actively dismantling its foundations.
The Furies
