[edit]Dr. Samantha Stern is one of the foremost psychiatric specialists dealing with superhuman psychology and trauma. Based in New York City, she has built an international reputation for treating superheroes, supervillains, and civilians whose lives have been shaped or shattered by contact with the superhuman world.
Over the years, Stern has counseled many prominent heroes coping with the emotional consequences of violence, public scrutiny, secret identities, catastrophic loss, and the constant pressures associated with superhuman responsibility. Her client list is highly confidential, though it is widely rumored to include some of the most famous heroes on Earth.
