Howard Phillips Lovecraft was one of the foremost monster-hunters and occult scholars of the Golden Age, a man who confronted cosmic horrors beyond human comprehension and lived to document them. Though publicly known as a writer of strange and unsettling fiction, those works were, in truth, veiled accounts of very real encounters.
Origin
[edit]Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Lovecraft lived a quiet and scholarly life, steeped in history, literature, and obscure traditions. His intellectual curiosity led him into increasingly esoteric fields of study, including theology, ancient languages, and forbidden occult texts.
At some point, that study crossed a threshold.
