Mobius is a reality-warping mathematical savant whose powers stem from exposure to a higher-dimensional realm where thought, mathematics, and physical law became interchangeable. Though only a few years old by Earth chronology, Mobius returned from that dimension as a fully formed adult possessing vast knowledge and frightening control over spacetime itself.
He has remained loosely affiliated with Watchstar ever since.
Origin
[edit]Mobius was born on Earth and appeared to be an ordinary child until a catastrophic accident altered his existence forever. While still very young, he fell into a dimensional rupture and vanished from normal spacetime.
By all conventional measures, he should have died.
Instead, he entered a bizarre extradimensional reality described by later observers as a realm of “higher-order mathematics,” where geometry, logic, probability, and thought possessed direct physical substance. In that dimension, equations behaved like architecture, abstract concepts could manifest materially, and consciousness itself influenced the structure of reality.
For Mobius, years passed there.
He adapted.
Return To Earth
[edit]Using abilities developed within the mathematical dimension, Mobius eventually found a path back to Earth. Although he had experienced years of growth and learning, only a short time had passed in his home dimension. He returned not as a lost child, but as an adult possessing immense intellectual and reality-altering capabilities.
His sudden appearance drew the attention of the superhero community, particularly Watchstar, who recognized both the danger and potential of his abilities.
Mobius joined Watchstar’s third team and has remained associated with the organization in a reserve capacity ever since.

He can appear aloof or unsettling, particularly when discussing subjects most people regard as impossible.
Despite this, he is not hostile. In many ways, he retains the curiosity of the child he once was.
He simply views existence from a radically different angle.
Reputation
[edit]Among heroes, Mobius is regarded with equal parts respect and caution. His powers are immense, but so abstract that even allies are not always certain of their limits. Mystics often distrust him, while scientists find him simultaneously fascinating and incomprehensible.
Some believe Mobius understands truths about reality that humanity is not prepared to hear.

Legacy
[edit]Mobius represents one of the stranger evolutions of the modern superhero age: not science opposed to magic, but science so advanced and abstract that the distinction no longer matters.
He returned from a place where ideas become real.
Part of him may never have fully left it.
