Nightdemon is the heroic identity of William “Bill” Bunnie, a former college football star transformed into a demonic being after thwarting a supernatural plot. Though cursed with a monstrous form and bound to a shadow dimension, he retained his humanity and chose to fight for others rather than surrender to what he had become.
Background
[edit]Bill Bunnie once had the kind of life people plan for. A star quarterback with natural talent, confidence, and a clear path to success, he stood on the edge of a professional career and everything that came with it.
That future ended during a championship game.
While investigating strange circumstances surrounding the event, Bill uncovered a demonic scheme designed to exploit human greed and chaos on a massive scale. Acting on instinct rather than understanding, he disrupted the ritual and prevented whatever catastrophe had been planned.
The demon responsible did not take the loss well.
In retaliation, it cursed him.
Transformation
[edit]The curse twisted Bill’s body into something monstrous, reshaping him into a demonic form tied to a dark, extradimensional realm. His strength, speed, and resilience increased dramatically, but at the cost of his appearance and any chance at returning to his former life.
What remained unchanged was his sense of self.
Rather than hide or lash out, Bill chose to use his new abilities to confront the kinds of threats that had created him. He took the name Nightdemon and stepped into a world where his appearance no longer set him apart.
Watchstar And Nexus
[edit]Nightdemon was recruited by the Gauntlet for the second Watchstar team, where his connection to supernatural forces made him invaluable in battles against occult and extradimensional threats.
After his time with Watchstar, he eventually became associated with Nexus, continuing his work against dark forces alongside others who understood the cost of confronting them.
Powers
[edit]Nightdemon’s abilities are tied directly to a shadow dimension to which he is permanently linked.
- Dimensional Gateway – Functions as a living doorway to a dark extradimensional realm
- Shadow Travel – Moves through that dimension to traverse space
- Summoning – Can call forth entities or energies from the shadow realm
- Enhanced Physicality – Superhuman strength, agility, and durability
His connection to the dimension is constant and cannot be fully severed.

He does not pretend the cost was small.
He simply refuses to let it be final.
