Nightwave is the Citadel designation for Xuvia Xar, a being from a tidally-locked world where one hemisphere exists in perpetual darkness. A master of shadow manipulation and stealth, he serves as one of the Citadel’s most effective scouts and covert operatives.
Background
[edit]Xuvia Xar was born on the dark side of a tidally-locked world orbiting a dim red star on the galactic rim. On his homeworld, the concept of “night” is not a cycle but a constant state, shaping every aspect of life, perception, and culture.
His people do not fear the dark.
They study it, inhabit it, and ultimately learn to command it.
From an early age, Xuvia demonstrated an exceptional affinity for these disciplines, developing the ability to perceive subtle shifts in shadow and eventually to manipulate them directly. His talents brought him to the attention of the Citadel, which recruited him as part of its ongoing effort to expand its reach into less-understood regions of space.
The Citadel
[edit]Within the Citadel, Nightwave operates primarily as a reconnaissance specialist and infiltration agent. His abilities make him uniquely suited to missions requiring stealth, surveillance, and silent movement through hostile environments.
