The Sisterhood of the White Flame is a clandestine order of warrior women dedicated to combating demons, occult corruption, infernal entities, and supernatural evil wherever it manifests in the mortal world. Hidden for centuries behind myth, rumor, and fragmented occult history, the Sisterhood wages an endless secret war against forces most of humanity never realizes exist.
To those who encounter them, the Sisters appear as exorcists, mystics, martial artists, hunters, scholars, and executioners wrapped into a single terrifying vocation.
To demons, they are something far worse.
Origins
[edit]The Sisterhood traces its origins to the thirteenth century during the era of the Great Purges in Central Asia. According to tradition, the order was founded by Princess Rashkali of Samarkand, a warrior-mystic who survived possession by a fire demon and somehow burned the entity out from within her own soul.
Rather than retreat from the supernatural horrors she had witnessed, Rashkali gathered other women scarred by encounters with darkness and forged them into the first Flame Sisters in 1274. Drawn from across the Silk Road and beyond, these survivors formed a hidden order dedicated to resisting infernal corruption wherever it emerged.
Over the centuries, the Sisterhood endured invasions, empires, wars, plagues, and modernity itself, adapting continuously while remaining hidden from ordinary society.
The Monastery
[edit]The Sisterhood operates from the Monastery of the White Flame, a hidden sanctuary concealed high within the Himalayas. Part fortress, part temple, and part training ground, the monastery serves as the spiritual and operational heart of the order.
Within its walls, recruits are stripped of their former identities and reforged through years of discipline, silence, meditation, combat training, and spiritual purification.
To survive the training is considered miraculous.
To complete it is to become something feared even by hell.
The Path Of The Flame
[edit]Every initiate undergoes a brutal five-year training regimen designed to prepare her for warfare against both physical and spiritual threats. The Sisterhood teaches that demons attack not only flesh, but mind, memory, fear, desire, and identity itself.
Training therefore encompasses body, intellect, and soul alike.

[edit]The Sisters are masters of unarmed combat, pressure-point strikes, joint manipulation, and fluid redirection techniques capable of countering both human and supernatural opponents.
Weapons Expertise
[edit]Sisters train extensively with ancient and modern weaponry alike, including naginata, kris blades, rope-darts, silver-etched firearms, and rune-inscribed weapons specifically designed for combating infernal entities.
Demonology
[edit]The order preserves vast archives concerning demonic hierarchies, summoning rituals, possession phenomena, exorcism rites, sigils, wards, and forbidden occult lore.
Astral Resistance
[edit]Mental disciplines teach Sisters to resist possession, survive psychic assault, and battle hostile entities upon the spiritual plane itself.
Flamebrands
[edit]Near the end of her training, each Sister undergoes a final spiritual trial during which she manifests or forges her Flamebrand — a unique weapon spiritually bound to its wielder.
No two Flamebrands are identical. Some appear as blades, staffs, chains, or firearms. Others take stranger forms. All burn more fiercely in the presence of corruption and infernal power.
Within the Sisterhood, a Flamebrand is considered an extension of the soul itself.
The White Flame
[edit]Though not inherently superhuman, certain Sisters develop rare mystical abilities through discipline, spiritual awakening, or traumatic encounters with the infernal.
The most feared of these powers is the White Flame itself: an inner spiritual fire capable of burning through curses, illusions, possessions, and lesser demonic entities.

[edit]A ritualized chant capable of exposing lies, unraveling deception, and inflicting spiritual agony upon corrupted beings.
The Red Lotus Betrayal
[edit]The Sisterhood nearly perished during the seventeenth century in an event known as the Red Lotus Betrayal. One of the order’s own succumbed to infernal corruption and founded a schismatic faction called The Blighted Hand.
The resulting conflict devastated the Sisterhood and nearly destroyed the monastery itself. Though the surviving Sisters ultimately prevailed, the order emerged far harsher, more disciplined, and more suspicious of weakness thereafter.
From this tragedy came the Sisterhood’s enduring oath:
“May the Flame consume me before the dark does.”
Current Leadership

[edit]The current High Flame of the Sisterhood is Fury, known among the order as the Storm Torch. A third-generation Sister and veteran of thirty-three recorded demon incursions, Fury is regarded as one of the deadliest exorcists alive.
Her body bears permanent burns inflicted during her battle with the demonic titan Jharzol, scars she refuses to heal as a reminder of the cost of failure.
Fury is known for her severe pragmatism and unwavering dedication to the Sisterhood’s mission.
