General Bane is the dread leader of the Stormriders, a terrifying warlord reborn in service to the interdimensional entity known as the Terror. Once the greatest military commander of a doomed civilization, Bane was transformed into something far darker after his world fell to the Terror’s endless hunger. Encased within a living battlesuit fused to his flesh, he became one of the Terror’s foremost heralds and a major enemy of Watchstar.

Origin

Long before his appearance on Earth, the being now called General Bane commanded the armed forces of a highly advanced civilization whose name has been lost to history. By all surviving accounts, he was not merely a soldier but a strategic genius, leading vast planetary campaigns and defending his people through wars that reshaped entire star systems.

In the end, none of it mattered.

His world attracted the attention of the Terror, the incomprehensible dimensional predator that drifts between realities consuming civilizations. Entire armies vanished. Continents burned. Cities were erased from existence as though they had never lived at all.

Bane fought until the end.

And then the Terror claimed him.

Servant Of The Terror

Rather than destroy the defeated commander outright, the Terror transformed him into something new: a resurrected servant bound to its will. His original body was remade into a monstrous fusion of flesh, armor, and weapon systems, while much of his remaining humanity was stripped away and replaced with absolute devotion to the Terror’s cosmic purpose.

Reborn as General Bane, he became the supreme commander of the Stormriders, a band of horrific heralds and dimensional raiders who traveled ahead of the Terror’s arrival, weakening worlds for eventual consumption.

To civilizations targeted by the Stormriders, Bane became the final warning before annihilation.

War Against Earth

General Bane first appeared on Earth-11717 during the events surrounding Watchstar’s battle with the Terror. Leading the Stormriders through dimensional incursions and catastrophic assaults, Bane coordinated attacks across multiple fronts with terrifying precision.

Unlike many conquerors, Bane did not seek rulership, wealth, or personal glory.

He existed solely to prepare worlds for extinction.

Even among the Stormriders, he inspired fear. His strategic brilliance, absolute ruthlessness, and seemingly endless patience made him one of the most dangerous enemies Watchstar ever faced.

Though the Terror itself was ultimately defeated by Watchstar, General Bane survived the conflict and vanished into the dimensional void alongside remnants of the Stormriders.

His current whereabouts remain unknown.
