The Stormriders are the terrifying heralds and servants of The Terror, an ancient transdimensional entity that consumes realities as it travels across existence.
As the Terror absorbed the knowledge and essence of countless destroyed dimensions, it also gathered powerful beings from those doomed worlds, reshaping them into loyal servants. Over centuries, these entities became the Stormriders: agents of annihilation sent ahead of the Terror’s arrival.
Throughout the multiverse, the appearance of the Stormriders became synonymous with planetary extinction.
Entire civilizations learned to fear the signs of their coming.
The Stormriders are not merely soldiers, but embodiments of ruin, corruption, madness, violence, and cosmic despair. Each possesses immense destructive abilities and a fanatical devotion to the Terror’s incomprehensible purpose.

The Terror Crisis
[edit]When the Terror finally came to Earth, the Stormriders launched coordinated attacks across the globe, overwhelming heroes and governments alike. The resulting conflict became one of the greatest crises in the history of Watchstar.
The heroes ultimately succeeded in defeating the Stormriders through a massive coordinated international effort. Their defeat forced the Terror itself to negotiate directly with Watchstar rather than simply consume Earth outright.
The conflict permanently altered humanity’s understanding of the multiverse and the scale of threats lurking beyond reality itself.
Resurrection
[edit]After the Terror departed Earth, many believed the Stormriders destroyed forever.
However, Goblin later succeeded in reconstructing the essence of the group, effectively resurrecting the Stormriders through chaotic supernatural means. Since then, the team has returned repeatedly in various forms, each appearance signaling the possibility of another catastrophic incursion.
Their continued existence suggests that the Stormriders may be less a traditional team than an enduring manifestation of cosmic destruction itself.
