The Victory Squadron was the greatest superhero team of World War II and one of the defining heroic organizations of the Golden Age.
The team was originally formed when Power Man and Captain Fortune assembled several New York-based heroes to dismantle a dangerous German spy network operating within the United States. The success of the mission quickly demonstrated the effectiveness of coordinated superhero operations during wartime.
As the war escalated, the Victory Squadron became the leading edge of America’s superhuman war effort.
The team fought on the Home Front, across occupied Europe, throughout the Pacific theater, and in numerous secret operations hidden from the public record. Their adventures combined wartime action, espionage, pulp heroics, supernatural threats, and battles against some of the deadliest Axis-aligned supervillains of the era.
The Victory Squadron repeatedly confronted enemies including Doktor Omega, the Saboteur, Jigsaw, and the Talon, becoming legendary symbols of resistance and heroism during the war years.

Dane Holmes was a master archer continuing a heroic identity passed down through generations of his family.

A mystic adept wielding ancient Kabbalistic powers who served as mentor and spiritual advisor to the Squadron.
Wartime Legends
The Victory Squadron became legendary not only for battlefield victories, but for its ability to confront threats conventional military forces could not handle. Nazi occult programs, advanced super-science weapons, hidden infiltrators, and supernatural horrors all fell within the team’s scope of operations.
