Arsenal is the professional identity of Daniel Hayes, a former teen supervillain who evolved from reckless criminal into one of the most precise and dangerous assassins operating in the modern era.
Origin
[edit]Daniel Hayes first emerged as the costumed delinquent Slingshot, a member of the chaotic youth villain group Rock n' Roll. Even at that early stage, Hayes demonstrated an unusual aptitude for ranged combat, preferring calculated attacks over the impulsive brawling typical of his peers.
A failed operation led to his arrest and imprisonment. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Hayes used incarceration not as a setback, but as an opportunity to refine himself.
During this time, he came to the attention of HAVOC, who recognized both his potential and his psychological detachment. Upon release, Hayes underwent extensive training, emerging as a disciplined and highly effective operative.
He abandoned the Slingshot identity and adopted the name Arsenal.
