The Watchstar Support Team, often affectionately called the Watchers, is the civilian operational staff assigned to support Watchstar during the era of the team’s third major roster. Employed through the Andrews Trust, the organization responsible for funding and maintaining Watchstar operations, the Watchers handle the endless logistical, medical, legal, technical, and domestic responsibilities required to sustain one of the world’s premier superhero teams.
Unlike ordinary support personnel, the Watchers became deeply integrated into the life of the team itself, living full-time at Star Key, the Watchstar estate and headquarters.
Over time, they became as much a family as employees.
Formation
The Watchers were formally organized following the establishment of Watchstar’s third major incarnation, when the scale and complexity of superhero operations made a permanent professional support staff essential.
Earlier versions of Watchstar had relied on temporary assistants, outside contractors, government liaisons, or the heroes themselves to manage daily operations. As the team’s responsibilities expanded — involving international crises, alien threats, metahuman disasters, and advanced technology — it became clear that Watchstar required dedicated personnel capable of operating behind the scenes full-time.
The Andrews Trust assembled a carefully selected group of specialists whose skills, loyalty, and adaptability made them uniquely suited to the chaos surrounding superhero life.
Life At Star Key
Unlike many superhero support organizations, the Watchers do not operate from detached offices or remote facilities. They live and work directly within Star Key alongside the Watchstar team itself.
This arrangement transformed the group into something far more personal than a conventional support staff. The Watchers witnessed the triumphs, disasters, arguments, injuries, romances, and emotional burdens of superhero life firsthand.
Remarkably, every member of the support team considers joining Watchstar the greatest experience of their lives.
Most openly adore the job.
Even on the days involving alien invasions, collapsing laboratories, interdimensional emergencies, or unexplained fires in the kitchen.

Malcolm Cage, USN, Ret.
Estate Manager
A retired Navy veteran and former member of the Naval Undersea Commandos, Malcolm Cage oversees the operation of Star Key itself and coordinates the estate’s support personnel. Calm, disciplined, and almost impossible to rattle, Cage functions as the practical backbone of the mansion.
Most heroes quickly learn that if Malcolm says something is a bad idea, it probably is.
Dr. Lesley Sunday, M.D.
Team Physician
Formerly Chief of Emergency Medicine for PHASE I headquarters in Paris, Dr. Sunday handles medical treatment for Watchstar and its associated personnel. Her experience treating both conventional and superhuman injuries makes her one of the most respected trauma physicians in the world.
She is also one of the few people capable of ordering superheroes to rest and occasionally being obeyed.
Mechanical Systems
A brilliant technician and engineer with extensive experience working with Andrews aviation and advanced systems technology. Viktorya maintains Watchstar vehicles, aerospace systems, armor components, and the endless stream of damaged equipment generated by superhero activity.
She has personally rebuilt portions of Star Key more times than anyone can count.
Information Technology
Rico serves as the team’s computer and communications expert, overseeing data systems, cybersecurity, tactical networks, and information management throughout the estate.
He also spends an alarming amount of time trying to stop superheroes from breaking expensive hardware.
Major Domo
Cherokee Stone oversees the domestic and administrative life of Star Key, ensuring the mansion remains functional despite the extraordinary personalities living within it. Her responsibilities range from scheduling and hospitality to crisis management and quietly preventing disasters before they happen.
Many within Watchstar suspect Cherokee actually runs the mansion far more than anyone publicly admits.
Attorney
Rachel Sinclair serves as chief legal counsel and administrator for the Andrews Trust. She handles contracts, liability issues, government negotiations, lawsuits, media complications, and the astonishing legal consequences of superhero operations.
Her workload is considered genuinely terrifying.
Reputation
Though rarely recognized publicly, the Watchers are deeply respected within superhero circles. Many heroes view them not merely as support personnel, but as trusted friends and stabilizing influences in lives defined by danger and unpredictability.
The support team’s devotion to Watchstar is equally strong.
To the Watchers, joining Watchstar was not simply employment.
It was becoming part of something legendary.
