Background

[edit]

John “Jack” Hammer Wesley serves as the chief of security for the worldwide Grace Companies organization and as the personal bodyguard of Trinity Grace, heir to the vast corporate empire.

A former member of the Naval Undersea Commandos, Wesley spent years in military service before entering civilian life. Joining the Grace organization at a relatively modest level, he rapidly distinguished himself through discipline, competence, courage, and an unwavering sense of duty.

Over time, a peculiar chain of events and acts of personal valor brought him to the direct attention of the Grace family, who elevated him into increasingly senior security roles until he eventually became one of the most trusted individuals within the organization.

Despite his closeness to Trinity Grace, Wesley remained unaware for years that she secretly operated as the superhero Mistral. When Trinity finally revealed the truth to him, Wesley accepted the revelation with characteristic stoicism and immediately adapted security protocols accordingly.

Wesley continues to carry deep personal guilt over the death of Trinity’s grandmother during an attack by the supervillain Ahriman, believing he failed in his duty to protect the family.

Skills And Personality

[edit]

As a former NUC operative, Wesley is a highly trained security professional skilled in firearms, close combat, tactical planning, executive protection, and threat assessment.

He is an accomplished martial artist, a crack shot, and an experienced field commander capable of functioning under extreme pressure.

Outside his military and security background, Wesley is also a trained classical pianist, a refinement that surprises many who initially mistake him for little more than a stern military officer.

Jack is disciplined, conservative, intensely professional, and deeply loyal. Even in civilian settings, he maintains the demeanor of a career serviceman.

His only obvious concession to frivolity is his collection of outrageously colorful neckties, purchased by his wife Janelle, who insists that he wear them despite his obvious discomfort.

Notes

[edit]

Jack Wesley serves as one of the major civilian pillars supporting the Grace family and the world surrounding Mistral, embodying the grounded professionalism that often keeps superheroes alive behind the scenes.
