Raven is the operational identity of Lisa Sakura, one of the most accomplished non-powered combatants in the modern era. Trained from childhood within the clandestine ninja order known as the Eight-Headed Shadow, she broke from that tradition to become a covert agent, counter-assassin, and international operative whose work spans governments, intelligence networks, and the superhero community.
Background

What the clan did not anticipate was resistance from within.
After carrying out her first sanctioned killing as a teenager, Lisa fled the fortress, rejecting both her training and the life it demanded of her.
